Exchange 2010 Session 3 is done

Today we did our final of the three part series here in Austin on Exchange 2010. The slides are up and available at Simpler-Webb. The event overall went really well. We may be doing some additional follow on events at Austin's Microsoft campus for other technologies, but for a while, I am going to focus more on Exchange 2010. There is still a LOT of things to uncover and figure out.

Exchange 2010 Seminars

Sorry for the lack of posting, but between regular work, all the new stuff lately, I haven't had time for the blogging as much. However, I hope to supplant this somewhat with this post.

I have been working at work on some Exchange 2010 seminars that myself and Andy Webb, our CTO and Microsoft Exchange MVP are delivering together. We completed the first session last week, and the PDF is available

The next two sessions are upcoming in Austin, TX:

JUNE 23, 2009, Session 2 of 3, REGISTER:http://www.clicktoattend.com/?id=138292
Highlight: Transport Service
Exchange 2007 introduced a completely new transport service for SMTP allowing for management of message flow based on content, sender, recipient, and other details. We'll discuss how Exchange 2010 continues to improve in this area.
Highlight: Client Access
Client Access via OWA has improved in every version of Exchange, and 2010 is no different. In addition to OWA, well discuss the additional changes with Outlook Anywhere and Activesync.

JULY 8, 2009, Session 3 of 3, REGISTER: http://www.clicktoattend.com/?id=138293
Setup & Deployment Scenarios
How many Exchange servers for your organization? What is the correct level of fault tolerance and high availability? How will your organization fit and scale with Exchange 2010? Well take a look at the various deployment scenarios you may be facing and potential solutions.
Migration Strategies
The degree of difficulty for migration to Exchange 2010 depends on the current state of your IT environment and your organizations needs. Well go over various migration strategies to help you make the change.

On top of this, I will also be doing some shorter seminars for the upcoming New Horizons event Spectechular in the Austin, and possibly San Antonio locations.
